The method involves recording a database by a route calculating device, and executing routing automaton by a processor of the route calculating device. A route course through a complex maneuver of a route is inadmissible from a node activation of zero or two internal nodes to an output node. Distance of the output node is decreased until the complex maneuver leaves the routing automaton and after inputting the complex maneuver into the routing automaton over activation nodes of the complex maneuver. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product with program instructions for executing a method for determining and displaying route in routing graph (2) a digital storage medium with electronically readable control signals for executing a method for determining and displaying route in routing graph (3) a navigation device determining and displaying the route in the routing graph.
