Method for successive prediction of route sections by navigation system of motor vehicle, involves detecting, storing and predicting sequence-turning decision at sequence node points until reaching destinations
The method involves passing a node point (A) in a route, and detecting and storing turning decision at the node point. A sequence- turning decision at sequence node points (B-D) is predicted considering route sections (1-5, 8) and the turning decision. Data with predicted sequence-route sections (9) are determined. The data are output to a drive assistance system, and the sequence node points are passed. The sequence-turning decision at the sequence node points is detected, stored and predicted until reaching destinations. An independent claim is also included for a computer program or a computer program product comprising algorithms for executing a method for successive prediction of route sections by a navigation system.
