The wheel (20) has wheel blades (22) distributed along a circumferential direction of a wheel hub (21) and arranged on a side (21a) of the hub. The blades define a set of wheel passages (22a) for passage of compression fluid. The passages exhibit a radially inner lying compression fluid-inlet end (23a) and a radially outer lying compression fluid-outlet end (23b). Centrifugal flow-blocking units are provided at a section of another side (21b) of the hub. The centrifugal flow-blocking units are arranged to stop radially outward flow of liquid cooling fluid applied on the latter side.
