The method involves accomplishing a tire carcass on a winding- and shaping tool (11), and winding tire assembly components in form of an inner liner, carcass insert and bead magnifier on the tool. The tool is moved from one position (14) to another position (15) of a tire assembly machine. A tire belt laminate is transferred from belt drums (5, 6) to the tool at the later position. Another tire carcass is accomplished on another winding- and shaping tool (10). A completed tire blank is removed from the former tool, and is subsequently processed.
