The coil is designed such that multiple windings of a dynamo-electrical machine are designed as braided wires (7) with multiple filaments (11). The braided wires and hollow spaces between the filaments are provided with filling material (13) i.e. synthetic resin, where filling material is hardened by a preset temperature process. The braided wires exhibit a casing (12) that provides electric insulation. The windings are inserted into slots of a stator of the dynamo-electrical machine and form a winding head at front sides of the stator. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a stator of a dynamo-electrical machine.
