Method for controlling internal combustion engine of vehicle, involves changing small time difference depending on detected injection rate of partial injection such that preset reference-injection rate for partial injection is obtained
The method involves dividing fuel injection into partial injections. A small time difference is obtained for one of the partial injections and changed depending on a detected injection rate of another partial injection such that a preset reference-injection rate for the latter partial injection is obtained. Changes of the time difference are determined during application and/or by continuous training during driving of a vehicle with an internal-combustion engine. An independent claim is also included for a computer program comprising a set of instructions for executing a method for controlling an internal combustion engine of a vehicle.
