The method involves adjusting the braking pressure higher than the pressure at the braking device (4,5,6,7) of the wheel of the front axis on the braking device of the wheel of the rear axis in a normal operation during braking operation of the vehicle. The vehicle has a wheel at a front axis and a rear axis. An independent claim is also included for a control device for a brake system of a motor vehicle, particularly for executing the method.
