The receiving device (10) has a base body (14) provided with laying elements (15-17). A gas turbine component i.e. gas turbine blade (11), received in the receiving device for processing is arranged on the laying elements. Strain gauges are assigned to the laying elements. The laying elements are designed as hollow-conical docking pins and tubular applying rollers. One of the strain gauges is integrated in the tubular applying rollers. Measured signals represent actual values for orientation and/or treatment of the gas turbine component in the receiving device. An independent claim is also included for a method for processing a gas turbine component.
