The steering (1) has a connecting rod (2) provided with a steering gear (5) that works between a steering column (6) and the connecting rod. The steering column is rotatably mounted at a steering housing (4). A ball screw (3) is provided with a spindle nut (9) and works between an electric motor (13) and the rod. The spindle nut is driven by the electric motor, and rolling members (8) roll between the spindle nut and a thread (7) of the rod. The steering column is directly connected with the spindle nut of the ball screw by the steering gear in a rotatable manner. The steering gear is designed as a planetary bevel gear.
