The tool i.e. hand-held power tool (1), has a footplate (5) and a display part (8) arranged with a section line mark at the footplate. The display part held at the footplate is adjustable between an operating position and an additive position. An adjusting movement e.g. translatory sliding movement, of an actuator device superimposes the adjustable movement of the display part between the operating and additive positions, where the movements are independently executable. The adjustable movement is designed as a rotatory rotating movement around a footplate-side rotating axis.
