The method for producing a metallic molded element (1) for motor vehicle components, where the metallic molded element has zone with high ductility, comprises providing a board made of steel alloy, homogeneously heating the board at 900-950[deg] C and then deforming to the molded element in a pressing tool, annealing the molded element in the pressing tool, and subsequently partially soft-annealing the molded element under the PS-line in iron-carbon diagram. The heating process is inductively or conductively carried out per radiation within a time frame of less than 30 seconds. The method for producing a metallic molded element (1) for motor vehicle components, where the metallic molded element has zone with high ductility, comprises providing a board made of steel alloy, homogeneously heating the board at 900-950[deg] C and then deforming to the molded element in a pressing tool, annealing the molded element in the pressing tool, and subsequently partially soft-annealing the molded element under the PS-line in iron-carbon diagram. The heating process is inductively or conductively carried out per radiation within a time frame of less than 30 seconds during the soft-annealing, and is carried out with open burners. During the cooling process of the soft-annealing, the molded element is kept in a clamping device. A deforming tool is used as the clamping device.
