The tool has a cavity for connection to a plastic injection nozzle, coolant lines and tool parts (2.1,2.2,8) with an ejection unit (3). The modular tool has a base tool (2) standardized according to definable parameters with standardized connection and joining elements such as hydraulic, electrical, coolant, heating and/or attachment connecting elements and at least one matching forming insert (8) for reversible connection to the base tool.. An independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing an inventive device.
