The method involves holding an object (2) in an opening area (2a) by an automated gripping tool (4). The object is defined warped, so that an inner contour of the opening corresponds to an outer contour of a mold (3). The mold is inserted in the opening area from outside towards inner side of the object by an automated insertion tool (5) in such a way that an aperture is accessible from outside by an opening (2b). The inserted mold is held together with the object by an automated holding tool coming from outside. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for automated fixing of a mold in the opening of a hollow object; (2) a device for automated insertion of a mold in the opening of a hollow object; and (3) a device for automated insertion of a mold in the opening of a hollow object.
