The handle (1) has a monochromatic light emitting semiconductor crystal (6) arranged in a recess (5) of a handle structure (2). The recess comprises an opening to a surface area of the handle. The recess is partly covered with a transparent converter cover containing fluorescent dye or phosphor. The cover is located at distance from the crystal, and converts the light emitted by the crystal into longer wavelength white wideband light. A light guide is arranged between the crystal and the cover. The crystal is arranged in a reflector.
