The apparatus (1) has a housing (2) comprising a larger aperture (4) at its side (3), where the apparatus is loaded with a work piece through the aperture and is loaded with a tool through a smaller aperture (6). A processing station (5) is openable behind the larger aperture. A supply device is provided for loading of the apparatus with the tool or the work piece. A tool magazine is provided for direct loading by the supply device or indirect loading by a loading device that is connected between the supply device and the tool magazine.
