The aid (2) has a base-sided supporting wheel (6), a support frame (8) and a supporting surface (10) that is connected with the support frame. Lateral supporting arms (12) extend to lateral areas of a garbage container (4), in an use position of the aid. The supporting arms have contact surfaces (14) for contacting the garbage container. Position of the supporting arms and/or the contact surfaces is adjustable. The diameter of the supporting wheel is approximately same as the diameter of wheels (18) attached at the garbage container.
