Torsional vibration damper for damping torsional vibrations in drive train of motor vehicle, has centrifugal weight guided in radial and curved grooves, where distance of curved groove to rotation axis changes in circumferential direction
The damper has a secondary mass (20) rotating around a rotation axis (32) in a circumferential direction relative to a primary mass (16), and a centrifugal weight (18) coupling the primary mass with the secondary mass. The primary mass or the secondary mass comprises a radially extending radial groove and a curved groove (36), where the centrifugal weight is guided in the grooves, where distance of the curved groove to the rotation axis changes in the circumferential direction. The centrifugal weight is supported in the grooves.
