Torsional vibration damper for damping torsional vibrations in crankshaft of drive train in motor vehicle, has pendulum arm flexibly swingable in circumferential direction around pendulum point that is changeable in radial direction
The damper has a flywheel rotatable around a rotation axis (26) for transmission of a rotation torque produced by a motor vehicle engine. A pendulum mass (24) is movable in a circumferential direction relative to the flywheel. A pendulum arm (30) is connected with the pendulum mass and the flywheel. The pendulum arm is flexibly swingable in the circumferential direction around a pendulum point (34) that is changeable in a radial direction. The pendulum point is defined by a limiting stopper (36) that lies at the pendulum arm.
