The device (2) has a clutch arrangement (22) i.e. wet multi-disk clutch arrangement, attached to a transmission input shaft (82) of a transmission i.e. dual-clutch transmission. Another clutch arrangement (24) i.e. wet multi-disk clutch arrangement, is attached to another transmission input shaft (90) of the transmission for selective torque transmission between a drive unit and the latter input shaft. The clutch arrangements are arranged in parallel and actuated in an actuation direction (124), which corresponds to two axial directions (10, 12) of the device.
