The block (1) has a steering wheel (11) with an annular rim (14) and moving in rotation around a rotational axis. An indicator (13) e.g. speedometer, has a graduated scale (17) and a displacement unit for displacing a needle (18) along the scale. A hub cap (12) is placed at the center of the rim and downstream of the indicator relative to a forward direction of a vehicle. The scale is provided in the form of arc of circle coaxial with the axis, and extends radially from an upper limit of the cap until a radius such that the scale remains visible between the cap and the rim for a driver.
