The device has a set of plates (23) respectively supporting LEDs (25), and a connection circuit connecting the LEDs to a power supply. Ratio between width and thickness of a flexible bar (22) is sufficiently large such that the bar is curved only in an exposition plane. The plates are perpendicularly connected to the bar such that the plates remain coplanar irrespective of the curve of the bar for enabling optical axes (26) of the LEDs to be parallel to one another and perpendicular to the exposition plane. The bar and the plates are contained in a flexible translucent tube (21). The bar and the plates with the LEDs are wrapped by a translucent resin.
