The method involves predefining setpoint temperature, and measuring temperature at an interior of a cooking utensil. A heating command is generated based on the measured temperature and setpoint temperature. One of measured temperature and heat command is transmitted to an embarked module e.g. personal computer, and a heating device. The heating device is controlled based on the heat command so that temperature at the interior of the cooking utensil converges towards the setpoint temperature. An independent claim is also included for a system for controlling cooking temperature of a cooking utensil.
