The cartridge (1) has an integrated communication unit (9) diffusing information in a rewriteable information source (7). The integrated communication unit is a reception unit for receiving information from an external information transmission unit (10). The integrated communication unit and the rewriteable information source are included in electromagnetic units i.e. radio frequency identification (RFID) units. A measurement unit provides the information related to the quantity of a volatile agent contained in a storage (3), and is arranged in a sensor. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for delivering a volatile agent for treating ambient air, comprising control units (2) a method for implementing a delivering device.
