Cosmetic composition (I) comprises at least one metal reducer (A) in powder form; at least one oxidizing compound (B) in powder form; and at least one filler (C), where (A) and (B) are capable of undergoing exothermic redox reaction in the presence water; (B) is present in the form of ionized ions, chelates ions and/or complex ions; and the molar ratio of metal reducer to the ions is = 0.5. An independent claim is included for cosmetic treatment of skin comprising formation of a cosmetic pack by adding water to (I); and applying the cosmetic pack on the skin.
