The mechanism has a slide fixed on a fixed part of a furniture, so that a longitudinal direction of the slide is parallel to a translation direction of a drawer in the furniture. An energy accumulation unit i.e. helical spring, is arranged on the slide. A slider (300) and a lever are utilized to disintegrate a drive unit from the accumulation unit such that a support (400) continues to drive in translation with respect to the slide without driving the accumulation unit. The support is assembled in translation with respect to the slide.
