The tool (OD) has coupling units (MC1, MC2) coupled to actuators. Each actuator acts on a locking mechanism when the mechanism is moved from a locking position, in which a first set of slides is immobilized relative to a second set of slides, to an unlocking position. Driving units drive, in the event of actuation, the coupling units to place the coupling units in the unlocking position to allow translation movement of the first set of slides relative to the second set of slides. The driving units include a transverse bar (BT) that is attached with a gripping bar (BP) and the coupling units.
