The system has a support element (11a) comprising a housing (112) to receive a bearing element (14) e.g. square or rectangular wooden bar. The housing emerges from an opening surface. A fixation element (15) limits the movement of the bearing element. The opening surface is provided with a groove (1107a). The fixation element is inserted in the bearing element and placed in the groove. Bearing surfaces (1108a, 1108b) are provided in the housing. An independent claim is also included for a physical exercise station comprising a support element.
