The present invention relates to the preparation of solid catalytic composition based on a functionalized porous organic material, wherein: (A) in a medium comprising organic monomers, a self-assembly of organogelling compounds in the form of structures is carried out fibrillary having a diameter of 10 nm to 100 nm; then (B) the polymerization of the monomers is carried out; then (C) the organogelling compounds are extracted from the polymer material, whereby a porous polymeric material (M) is obtained, in which the monomers carry the reactive functions R whose presence is sought on the material; or said reactive functions R in a protected form; or functions suitable for allowing grafting of said reactive functions R on the polymer material; and where, following step (C), (D) any or all of the functions present at the walls of the mesopores of the polymeric material (M) are converted into reactive functions R, and a composition is recovered. comprising a porous polymeric material (M) bearing reactive functions R, as a catalytic composition.
