The arrangement has a headlight (14) comprising a front face and a rear face (14B) oriented towards an engine compartment of vehicle. The headlight has a support zone (30) supported against a rigid stop part (32) i.e. stop pin, secured to a body structure of the vehicle during a frontal impact. The stop part includes a support wall inclined from top towards bottom and from front towards rear of the vehicle such that contact of a support wall of the support zone with the support wall of the stop part directs the headlight towards the bottom during the impact.
