The structure has a vertical soil retaining wall (28) made of composite material and provided on a major portion of periphery of a tank. A soil retaining cage (27) is intercalated between ends of the vertical wall, and forms an inner space (56) to access equipments placed under the tank, where the space communicates with longitudinal passageways (55) formed between the tank and a peripheral soil retaining wall. Side panels (25), corner panels (26), an upper horizontal chute (29) and a vertical gutter (30) are arranged on an inner side of the retaining wall.
