The element has an elastic band (11) whose free length portion is extended outside extensible thickness layers (13, 14). The layers are assembled on both sides of a length portion (11a) of the band. The length portion of the band is inserted between the layers, such that respective faces of the length portion of the band and the layers are fixedly adhered with respect to each other. The band and the layers are made of textile material. The extensibility of the layers is equal to the extensibility of the band.
