Composition (A) comprises: (i) one or more dye precursors comprising indole derivatives (I); and (ii) one or more liquid organic compounds having a Hansen solubility parameter (delta H) of = 15 (MPa) 12at 25[deg] C in a medium. Composition (A) comprises: (i) one or more dye precursors comprising indole derivatives of formula (I); and (ii) one or more liquid organic compounds having a Hansen solubility parameter (delta H) of = 15 (MPa) 1/2at 25[deg] C in a medium. R1-R4 : 1-4C alkyl or 1-4C alkoxy (both optionally substituted), H, halo or OH; R : 2-6C acyl group or 1-4C alkyl carboxy (both optionally substituted), group derived from a polyol, PO 3MM1a group or SO 3M 2group; M : H or an ion derived from an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal, an ammonium ion or an ion from an organic amine; M1a : M or 1-4C trialkyl ammonio-1-4C alkyl; M 2undefined Z : 2-6C acyl group or 1-10C alkyl (both optionally substituted) or H; and W1 : 1-4C alkoxy, 2-4C acyl or 1-10C alkyl (all optionally substituted), H, halo, OH, optionally salified carboxy, -SCH 3or -SO 2CH 3.
