Composition (A) comprises: one or more dye precursors having fused heterocyclic structure (I); one or more indoline dione dye compound (II); and liquid organic compound having a value of Hansen solubility parameter (delta H) of less than 16 MPa 12in a medium. Composition (A) for coloring keratin fibers, particular human keratin fibers such as hair, comprises: one or more dye precursors having fused heterocyclic structure of formula (I); one or more indoline dione dye compound of formula (II); and liquid organic compound having a value of Hansen solubility parameter (delta H) of less than 16 MPa 12in a medium. X : S or O; R1-R4 : 1-4C alkoxy or 1-4C alkyl (both optionally substituted by one or more halo and/or hydroxyl groups), H, halo or hydroxyl; R5-R8 : 1-4C alkoxy, 1-4C alkyl or 2-4C acyl (all optionally substituted by one or more halo and/or hydroxyl groups), H, halo, hydroxyl, or salified or non salifed carboxy group; and Z : 2-6C acyl or 1-10C alkyl (both optionally substituted by one or more halo and/or hydroxyl groups) or H.
