The device has a case (1) equipped with a control panel and a port (2, 4) of a removable computer equipment, where one port (2) is a Universal serial bus (USB)port. A recognition and formatting unit recognizes and formats a type of the computer equipment, where formatting instructions of the computer equipment are introduced by a user by utilizing the control panel. The control panel comprises a screen (10) i.e. touch screen, displaying a drop-down menu that displays different formatting types adapted to the computer equipment.
