The device has a storage and calculation box (1) for storing fuel level, fuel consumption, duration of an in-service state of a road vehicle and rotational speed of components of the vehicle. A level gauge/probe detects a fuel level in a fuel tank of the vehicle. The box communicates with a remote transmission unit, and is connected to a sensor (8) that indicates better operation of an engine of the vehicle. The box has a secure locking unit (2) provided with a stopping coupler sealing a data transmission connector e.g. universal serial bus (USB)or RJ 45connector. The remote transmission unit is chosen from a group comprising global system for mobile communication (GSM)antenna, global positioning system (GPS) antenna, general packet radio service (GPRS)antenna and Infrared data association (IRDA)antenna. The level gauge/probe is chosen from a group comprising ultrasonic level gauge/probe, capacitive float type level gauge/probe or resistive float type level gauge/probe and level gauge/probe measuring bottom hole pressure in the fuel tank.
