The method involves capturing time reference in an event acquiring chain (100), and capturing a time reference. A global time counter is set on the time reference. The global time counter is reset over variation captured by the latter time reference when the event is initialized in reference to an angular counter. The detection signal is applied simultaneously to an acquiring chain. The latter time reference is deactivated when the acquiring chain detects parasites. An independent claim is also included for a microcontroller for reducing a delay.
