The method involves selecting electronic components of an electronic equipment, and distributing the components of the electronic equipment. Voltage (V1) is applied for the selected components of the equipment. A failure rate is determined under the effects of the voltage of the selected components. Another failure rate is determined under the effects of another voltage (V2) of the selected components. Average variation of the failure rates of the components between the two voltages is determined.
