Makeup composition (A), comprises: at least one compound or mixture of compounds capable of giving the composition a ropy character (d max) of = 5 mm; and at least one non-cyclic silicone oil (I) having a viscosity at 25[deg] C of = 300 cSt. Makeup composition (A), comprises: at least one compound or mixture of compounds capable of giving the composition a ropy character (d max) of = 5 mm; and at least one non-cyclic silicone oil of formula (R1-Si(R1) 2-O-[Si(R1) 2-O-] n-[Si(R1a)(R2)-O-] m-Si(R1) 3) (I) having a viscosity at 25[deg] C of = 300 cSt. R1 : 1-20C, preferably 1-6C alkyl (such as methyl, ethyl, propyl or butyl), or OH; R2 : 2-O] n1-Si(R1) 3); R1a : R1 or R2; m : 0-150, preferably 20-100; and n, n1 : 1-300, preferably 1-100. Independent claims are included for: (1) method for making up of keratin fibers such as eyelashes or eyebrows, comprising applying the make-up composition from the base to the free end of eyelashes by extending the keratin fibers, preferably outer part of eyelashes; and (2) kit for packaging and application of a makeup composition, comprising: a reservoir; a makeup composition (A), arranged inside the reservoir; and a device for the application of make-up and/or care composition.
