A software distribution architecture in which a software vendor provides a software store that is coordinated with the unique requirements of a software purchasing enterprise. Examples of the requirements include the enterprise infrastructure, approval or account billing and financial arrangements. The requirements may be based upon a knowledge of the software and/or hardware of the used by members of the enterprise and/or be based upon rules, policies or guidelines of the enterprise.
