PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unborn baby state-detecting maternity belt allowing a pregnant woman to stick a plurality of electrodes to desired positions of a two-dimensionally developed abdominal part by oneself regardless of a bodily shape thereof or months pregnant, and allowing a decider in a distant place to decide a state of an unborn baby such as the heartbeat of the unborn baby, and to provide an unborn baby state detection method using the same.;SOLUTION: A frame 10 includes: a pair of support parts 11, 11 along a nearly up-and-down direction of the pregnant woman; and an arch part 12 separating the pair of support parts 11, 11 from the abdominal part of the pregnant woman in an arch state, and connecting the pair of the support parts 11, 11. An electrode support body 30 can be deformed such that the electrode support body 30 abuts the abdominal part of the pregnant woman, and is supported between the pair of support parts 11, 11 by elastic members 40 right and left thereof. An electrode 20 includes a reference electrode 22 supported by an attachment 50, and contacting with the back side of the pregnant woman.
