PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device in which the operation mode is shifted to a power saving mode by reflecting a user's power saving mind, a power saving control method of the portable terminal device, and a power saving control program of the portable terminal device.SOLUTION: An operation content of a user required when shifting from a normal operation mode to a special mode being a power-saving mode in which power consumption is reduced is registered in power-saving mode shifting operation content storage means 11. Power-saving mode shifting operation content determination means 12 determines occurrence of the registered content. Power-saving mode shifting means 13 shifts the own device to the power-saving mode when there occurs the user's operation content registered in the power-saving mode shifting operation content storage means 11.
