PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an epoch-making animal hair containing fiber material having washability and water repellency with excellent practicality, which has water repellency and morphological stability providing excellent washing durability, while maintaining a unique feeling that is inherent characteristics of an animal hair containing fiber material.;SOLUTION: The method for producing an animal hair containing fiber material having washability and water repellency includes: a first treatment step in which an animal hair containing fiber material that contains an animal hair such as wool in a fiber material is subjected to a crosslinking treatment using either or both of a dichloro triazine-based crosslinking agent or/and a polyhalogenopyrimidine-based crosslinking agent; a second treatment step in which the fiber material subjected to the crosslinking treatment is subjected to a morphological stability imparting treatment using a polyurethane-based resin processing agent; and a third treatment step in which the fiber material subjected to the morphological stability imparting treatment is subjected to a water repelling treatment using a fluorine-based water-repelling processing agent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
