PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which corrects a position of a light emission point of a light beam of at least one wavelength among a plurality of light beams differing in wavelength, a light receiving device which corrects a position of a light convergence point of the light of at least one wavelength, an optical head device, and a projection type display device.;SOLUTION: Light source devices 10a and 10b include light sources 20a and 20b which emit light beams of a plurality of wavelengths differing in a light emission point position, and optical position correcting elements 30a and 30b. The optical position correcting elements 30a and 30b are each sectioned in an uneven shape comprising projections and recesses arranged filling grooves of the projections, and a first material forming the projections and a second material forming the recesses have the same refractive index to light beams of one or two wavelengths among light beams of a plurality of wavelengths and different refractive indexes to the light beams of the remaining wavelengths. The optical position correcting elements 30a and 30b take optical actions to correct position shifts in a light emission point of the light beams of wavelengths to which the optical position correcting elements 30a and 30b have the different refractive indexes when the light beams of the wavelengths are made incident.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
