PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve operability in a sheet cassette equipped with a lower stage side tray and an upper stage side tray.;SOLUTION: The sheet cassette 100 is a multi-stage sheet cassette equipped with a lower stage side tray 50 and an upper stage side tray 60 that is slidably displaced between a position where feeding can be done and a retracted position above the lower stage side tray 50. The upper stage side tray 60 is configured to maintain the open state by a holding means so that the upper stage side tray 60 is prevented from being closed inadvertently when a sheet is accommodated in the lower stage side tray 50, and operability when a sheet is accommodated in the lower stage side tray 50 can be improved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
