PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform registration of component part information through arrangement of component parts while referring to a single arrangement development display.;SOLUTION: The production operation management system includes: a sales management section 10 that manages sales of a product; a production management section 20 that manages the production of component parts and the product; a purchasing management section 30 that performs ordering and purchasing of the component parts; and an inventory management section 40 that manages an inventory of the component parts. The production management section 20 connects via network an arrangement development section 21 that develops necessary component parts for producing the product based on order information issued by an ordering section 11 and arranges the ordering of the component parts, an inventory reference section 24 that inputs purchased inventory information and makes a reference about an inventory status of the component parts, a work instruction and result section 22 that makes a reference about the inventory status of the component parts and issues the work instruction based on the purchased inventory information, and a progress management section 25 that monitors a progress status of the ordering and the production of the product.
