PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel failure detection device capable of quickly determining the presence of high calorie failure of fuel.;SOLUTION: In the fuel failure detection device 21, an output variation calculation part 211 obtains a current fuel command, a no-load-time fuel command, and a gas turbine output, and calculates a variation amount of an output/fuel ratio, and outputs it to a determination part 212. The determination part 212 determines whether the variation amount of the output/fuel ratio calculated by the output variation calculation part 211 is equal to or more than a predetermined threshold, and determines that the fuel supplied to a combustor of a gas turbine has high calorie failure when it is equal to or more than the threshold. Because the fuel failure detection device determines whether the fuel has high calorie failure without using a calorie meter, the measurement time by the calorie meter is not required, and the presence of high calorie failure of the fuel is quickly determined.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
