PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a message receiving method capable of quickly acquiring correct message data in accordance with a situation and updating the acquired data.;SOLUTION: A GPS signal is demodulated (S101) and whether an ephemeris is updated by IODE or not is checked (S102). A reliability parameter is calculated based on a correlation result of the GPS signal (S103). When a value of a present reliability parameter is higher than a value of an existing reliability parameter corresponding to an already stored ephemeris and the present ephemeris is different from an already stored ephemeris, the existing ephemeris is updated to the present ephemeris and the updated ephemeris is stored even when there is no ephemeris updating instruction (Yes in S104, S105, Yes in S106 and S107, and S108).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
