PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a system for proposing an improvement policy by analyzing a business activity.;SOLUTION: This business activity analysis method to be executed by a business support system includes: a procedure of, when an instruction rule described in natural language is input, extracting words showing the featured values of the business activities included in the instruction rule, modification words relating to the words showing the featured values, and an instruction message to be displayed when conditions described by using the modification words are satisfied; a procedure of, on the basis of the statistical information of the feature values of the business activities with respect to a plurality of customers acquired from a plurality of business staffs, converting the input instruction rule into a machine rule including the threshold of the featured values corresponding to the modification words; a procedure of, when the featured values of the business activities performed by the business staffs are newly acquired, determining whether or not the newly acquired featured values satisfy the machine rule; and a procedure of, when the machine rule is satisfied, displaying the instruction message.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
