FOUR LAYER TYPE CATALYST BASE BODY FOR CNT PRODUCTION, CNT WITH SUBSTRATE CARBONIZED LAYER, CNT WITH CARBONIZED LAYER, CNT PRODUCTION METHOD, CNT RECOVERY METHOD, AND CNT CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION APPARATUS
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize exquisitely aligned CNTs on a catalyst layer, and to achieve reuse of a substrate layer after separation and recovery of CNTs.;SOLUTION: In a four layer type catalyst base body 1 for CNT production, a heat-resistant resin layer 4 is formed on the substrate layer 2, an Al layer 6 is formed on the heat-resistant resin layer 4, and the catalyst layer 8 for CNT synthesis is formed on the Al layer 6. Also a four layer type catalyst base body belt is optionally provided, in which the substrate layer 2 is a substrate belt formed with a shape of a belt, and the heat-resistant resin layer 4, the Al layer 6, and the catalyst layer 8 are laminated on the substrate belt. The aligned CNTs are synthesized on the catalyst layer 8 by forming the heat-resistant resin layer 4 which has a heat-resistant temperature of 400C or more, preferably 500C or more, and which prevents a reaction between the substrate layer 2 and the catalyst layer 8 upon the CNT synthesis, and reuse of the substrate layer 2 including the substrate belt is achieved because a surface of the substrate layer 2 is in a state previous to the synthesis even after separation and recovery of CNTs.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
