PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a printing condition based on not visual read of a user, but read with an optical information reading apparatus in order to improve read stability.SOLUTION: The printing quality evaluation system includes: a printing position recognizing section 68 that recognizes the printing position extracted by a symbol extracting section 63; and an evaluation output section that outputs the evaluation result of the printing quality by the printing quality evaluation section 65 according to the symbol extracted by the symbol extracting sections 63, wherein printing positions of a particular pattern each are related with a printing condition printed with a symbol added with the particular pattern, two or more symbols each are an evaluation pattern in which cells of one or two or more which each are a structure unit of a particular two-dimensional code are combined, and each are composed by the evaluation patterns having a smaller size than that of the particular two-dimensional code, further each evaluation pattern is printed with a pattern in which a cell pattern is different at each printing position.
